Meeting outcome.


The steering committee which comprises of Politicians, Southern Midlands Councilors, media, business managers, parents and community members met on Monday evening 12th May to form 4 sub committees set up to manager the different areas of development.

These are the sub committees that were formed.
· Sustainability and Agriculture
· Education
· Employment, Business and Marketing
· Community, Planning and Infrastructure

The steering committee are looking to enhance the area from Buckland, Runnymede through to Bayden with new and innovative projects.

Some of the plans already being discussed are
· Village style planning – affordable housing being established by a local developer.
· Environmentally friendly village.
· Aquaponics that Levendale Primary students would develop
· Networking with Orford Primary and Oatlands District High School
· Co op farming
· Child care facilities
· Small business directory
· Utilising the educational program through the Woodsdale Museum
· Employment
· Grant assistance

It’s such a great pleasure to see a dedicated group of volunteers trying to make a difference with our communities.
The farmers market was a huge success.
I am sure that only great things will follow with our dedicated team leading the way !!!!!!!!!
