Hello my name is Amba Im 25 and my partner is 24 and we have 5 childern aged from 9yrs to 7mths. We moved to Tassie about a 11mths ago to be closer to my partners family but finding a house to rent big enough for all of us without going dead broke every wk was to hard so i have had to take 4 of our childern back to Q.L.D and live back with mum again. We’re a young family from Maryborough Qld. Maryborough is no longer a country town and is slowly getting more violent. This is not the kind of environment that I would like to start my three young children at school. So as you can tell I’m very interested in moving my family to a nice peaceful country town.

Im a sole parent of 2boys aged 7 and 10 years.We would love to move to Tazzie and live in a farm house with cheap rent instead of the city in a homeswest apartment with no backyard for the boys to run free as kids are meant to do(just in the backyard,i mean).I have many talents I could bring to the community including being a personal carer,singer,I also do cleaning,gardening,I do Theraputic Massage and I am also a Reiki Healer.I can cook and clean, I have demolished a house b4 to rebuild it into a 12×12 shack that I lived in.My mum is planning to live in Tazzie when her husband passes which wont be too fat away sadly but as she doesnt want to stay where they lived together she wants to go back to her home of Scotland but thats too expensive for all the family to move there too,as I intend to be looking afer her in her older age and Tazzie reminds her of Scotland and its a cheaper way to go.Im 40s year young and have alot to give.I grew up on afarm and my children have been living on farms until 3years ago when we had to move to the city for accomodation.Its been very uncomfortable in the city for us country folk.Please keep us on your list and keep me updated.Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful opportunity.
I am a single father of 3 beautiful children and live in Brisbane QLD. The $1 a week housing plan sounds very generous. I was watching the show with my children and seeing the footage of this story, my children seem very excited about the prospect of moving to this beautiful part of Australia. I am a construction worker and handy man. My children are 7, 5 and 2, making this move would be beneficial to the up bringing of my children, seeing that it is a small farming community with other families with children. We would be very grateful if you will consider our request to part of the Levendale farming community.
